  • 1 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 15 oz. chickpeas drained
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne optional
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper optional


  • In a skillet, heat up the oil and garlic over medium heat.
  • Mix together the honey, sriracha, salt, pepper, cayenne, and crushed red pepper in a bowl.
  • Add in the chickpeas and the sauce mixture and bring to a simmer.
  • Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce begins to thicken and reduce.
  • Remove from heat and let cool to allow the sauce to continue to thicken, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
