- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1¼ cups whole milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons butter melted, plus more for garnish
- 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
- Cooking spray
- Maple syrup optional
Instructions
- Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Pour in the milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter; whisk until well combined.
- Spray a skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Scoop about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake into the skillet.
- Cook on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Serve with a pat of butter, a drizzle of syrup, or any other garnishes you'd like.
