Ingredients
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 large yams
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange zest grated
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel the yams and cut them into round pieces. Pour the orange juice into the cooker.
- Arrange the yams in the silicone steamer basket and sprinkle with salt, brown sugar, and orange zest. Place small amounts of butter all over the top.
- Lower the steamer into the cooker, close and lock the lid. Bring to HIGH pressure and cook for 7 minutes (or 13 minutes at LOW pressure).
- When done, release the pressure and remove the lid. Carefully lift out the basket with the yams. Transfer them to a serving dish.
- Boil down the sauce until thickened and pour over the yams.
