Ingredients
- 1¼ cup lentils cooked
- 1 garlic clove
- 4 tablespoons tahini
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons parsley chopped
For Garnish
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- sesame or chia seeds
- sweet paprika
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the cooked lentils if using canned ones.
- Put all the ingredients in the blender or food processor and blend until well combined.
- Place the mixture into the desired serving bowl and garnish with extra virgin olive oil, seeds, and paprika if desired.
- This hummus can be served cold or hot, refrigerate for a cold dish or place in the microwave for half a minute for a warm dish.
