Ingredients
- 6 Golden apples peeled, cored and cut into pieces
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 stick cinnamon
- zest of 1 orange optional
- zest of 1 lemon optional
Instructions
- Place the peeled and diced apples into the pressure cooker along with the water, sugar, cinnamon and zests, if desired.
- Lock the lid in place, bring to HIGH pressure. Stabilize the pressure and cook for 3 minutes. Release the pressure.
- Place the fruit in a compote dish and serve at room temperature or cold.
