  • 3 cups cubed bread 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Toss cubed bread with olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until bread is evenly coated.
  • Transfer coated bread cubes to the basket.
  • Cook at 400°F and cook until croutons are golden brown and crisp, about 8-10 minutes. Work in batches if needed.

Notes

Cooking Tip: Try different seasonings to customize the croutons.
• ½ teaspoon garlic powder would be great to add if you plan to use them in a Caesar salad.
• ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper adds a nice kick of spice and would be great with a tomato soup.
