Line tray with foil. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add in the yolk, egg, and vanilla extract.
Add in the dry mixture, a little at a time.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop the dough into golf ball-sized balls (about 1 oz). Place on the trays.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 3 minutes.
Bake for 14 minutes at 350°F. Switch the trays positioning with each other at the halfway mark.
Transfer to a plate or a wire rack to let the cookies cool.
